Welcome |
|
Welcome to Holy Trinity Sloane Square, right at the heart of London, with prayer right at its heart. The former Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman called Holy Trinity Church the ‘Cathedral of the Arts & Crafts Movement’, and that indeed is what it is, containing treasures by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones among many others. But first and foremost it is a house of prayer, the dwelling-place of God.
Of far more significance than the building itself is the living church of people, local and visiting, who daily use the building for prayer and worship. |

RESTORATION WORKS
In order to help safeguard the magnificent beauty Holy Trinity for the future, we are in the process of carrying out important repairs to the roof and cleaning the stonework and stained glass of the church. The outside of the church will be covered in scaffolding throughout 2008 and some interior works will take place during June. Disruption will be kept to a minimum but some midweek services will take place in the Memorial Chapel or at the High Altar at this time. Thank you very much for your care and patience. We look forward to revealing Holy Trinity’s glories looking better than ever in 2009. Should you have any questions about the works please contact the church office on 020 7730 7270 or email info@holytrinitysloanesquare.co.uk |
